On our geocaching podcast today, we share about a new kind of geocaching we heard about: LPC Golf. Yes, it is a thing, comes with rules and everything, and we’ll tell you all about it. Also, a great trackable redemption story, helped along by a muggle, geocaching tools of the trade, thanking volunteers and more.

I had read about LPC Golf on the forums but it did not trip my trigger. But another twist I have seen is where the coordinates take you to the middle of a parking lot, equidistant from 4 light poles. You then guess which of the poles has the cache. You could have to go to all four before you find it. Then you sign the log and replace the cache at the same pole or a different one of the four equidistant poles. A different twist to raise the interest level.
