I’ve been putting out a Pi day puzzle on Pi day for the last several years. I missed it this year because the weather has been just awful and because there just aren’t enough geocachers in my area that care. 32323 is a Palindrome Day and I’ve been doing Palindrome day puzzles, too. Not sure I’m going to do one of those either. I was really put off last year when a reviewer insisted on know exactly how to solve my palindrome puzzle before they would publish it. In almost 20 years of caching, no reviewer has ever asked me to divulge my solution in order to get it published. I complained to two more reviewers and GHQ about that “rule.” It makes me feel like I’m giving up my intellectual property to someone who doesn’t deserve it. Anyway, I haven’t put out a single cache since then.
