I have learned so much about geocaching listening to your podcast. I have been geocaching since 2010 and listening to your podcast almost as long. I thought I knew it all by now but I have to admit I learned something new in show 683. I’m going to be able to really up my numbers now because of “FaceTime geocaching”. Just think about all the caches I can now log by watching videos. There are literally thousands of caches in videos on the internet. I’m going to be busy getting all those logged.
NOT REALLY!
I agree with Sandy, If you don’t sign the log, you shouldn’t claim the find. I understand that everyone plays the game their own way. And that’s OK, to a point. I have gone back and deleted a few of my finds because as I learned more I felt they weren’t legitimate finds, even though others thought otherwise. Though I’ve never done it, I’m even OK with a single person signing a log for a group and all in the group claiming the find, as long as they were actually present and helping in the hunt.
As far as Warchester goes. 😉 I live in Illinois and I’m still amazed by how many people say Illinoise. Come on people!! On top of that, I grew up in Monmouth Illinois and of course there are people that say
Mon-Mouth, when it’s actually pronounced Mon-muh th.
So for kicks I went back and listened to show 86, and I have to say, I really liked hearing the email shoulder music from back then again! I miss it! It always made me so happy to hear it.
