My brother sent my siblings and I on treasure hunts for Christmas presents back in the 70s and 80s. We’d end up going all over our town, just to find the Christmas gift hidden somewhere in our bedrooms. Even so, it was so much fun, this treasure hunting was actually what got me hooked on geocaching many years later.
I always plan, but it’s rare they life goes as my plans. That’s ok, because a lot of times it works out for the better. I had to learn to plan, but remain flexible. Life got a lot easier when I did. Yeah, life isn’t fair. We whine when we’re getting the short end of the stick, but we come out ahead some times as well.
