To complete the November geocaching challenge I thought I would search for a local cache with a “recommended at night” attribute. I’ve never cached at night so I was armed with everything I thought I might need, UV flashlight, conventional flashlight, reflective vest, etc. As I approached GZ it was obvious that this was a LPC. Sonny, like you I’m not a fan of LPCs. However, I think I’ve discovered a good reason for them. A LPC is nothing less than a night cache with built-in lighting. All the extra gear I thought I might need stayed in the pack unused.
