I would use the Camouflage Gaffer Tape on new cache hides in wooded areas.
Thank you for another interesting podcast.
The last podcast was interesting. What I’m surprised about is the new geotour in Spokane with theme ‘sustainability’. Interesting, because caches or events dealing with sustainability are not allowed by the reviewers here in the Netherlands. To give an example: I tried to organize an event during “Earth Hour” which was disapproved by the reviewers.
I had to change the event listing such that there was no reference to anything with sustainability, no reference to “Earth Hour” and no reference to any organization dealing sustainability. But then later, after many changes, it turned out that the event was not allowed anyway because the same day there was a mega-event somewhere else in the country.
So that this geotour is approved suprises me and I wonder if HQ supports this theme. I have been to Spokane WA some years ago, I did some geocaches there and I enjoyed it.
Anyway, thanks again for the podcast.
That’s very interesting, especially since geocaching HQ celebrates Earth Day with souvenirs and encourages CITO event, etc. What is the reason given by the reviewers for not allowing this?
