Love the show, love the contests!! I think the most important feature a caching app should have is a good, user-friendly interface. I am not a fan of the new official Geocaching app, and often revert back to using the Classic app.
Thanks for your comment!

I feel the same as Derek, but also, a must have for me is saving caches in an offline list with the maps as well. The additional features for hiding really peaked my interest and now I really want to check out the app. Love the fact that you can copy your coordinates to your clipboard!
Hey Jeff – Glad to hear you want to check out Cachly! Thanks for your comments.
By the way, forgot to mention… one big plus I can’t wait to check out is importing gpx files. That is a biggie especially if you participate in events like MOGA or the Texas Challenge.
Cheers!

I purchased and use Cachly. I find it useful to have it and the geocaching app open at the same time. I can set the settings in one to show all caches and the other to just show traditional.
I did learn several things about Cachly from your interview. Thanks.
Thanks for your comment – and glad you learned some new things!!
I have never used cachly before, but I am looking into it since this week’s show! I think one of the features I would want in any caching app is the ability to easily log trackables, both owned ones in inventory and newly found trackables. I have tried doing this in the official Geocaching app but found it difficult. So for visits I usually end up logging the cache on the app and then going on the website to add in the trackables that visited that cache.
