The new “Caches Along a Routeâ€? feature available for premium members on Geocaching.com makes planning a geocaching trip much easier. There are previously uploaded routes in which you can search and run pocket queries or you can build your own route. The Caches Along a Route page at Geocaching.com has very good directions for both searching previous uploaded routes and for using Google Earth to create a route but I wanted to expand on it and show some screen shots. In this tutorial I will go step by step with how to build a route in Google Earth, upload the route and build a pocket query for the route.
There is a lot of information and screen shots for this tutorial so I decided to set it up on a page of its own. Here is the link to the tutorial.
