On our geocaching podcast today, we have the conclusion of the interview with Chris Ronan from Geocaching HQ. We also have a very cool idea for a Geocaching Gift for a non-geocacher, a new geotrail in Vallejo CA, a puzzle challenge you might be interested in, geocaching lists and much more.

I got this log Sunday and wondered what is this? So I messaged the guy and he said he did a voice text and hadn’t looked at it. Said he’d edit it but so far hasn’t. What did the log say? “Chicken minute but I’m climbing the fine thank you” This was for my cache ACK!!! http://coord.info/GC2C71G
People in Texas can feel Sean’s pain. They lost Del Taco as well, but there are no signs that they’re coming back.
This made us LOL and we shared it on the latest show. We’ll do a whole show about logging caches soon.
Interesting show though here in the Netherlands no one cares about superbowl.
I liked the interview. A while ago I asked in the Netherlands geocaching facebook group about tips how to use lists. The most frequent response was the use for caches with updated coordinates such as solved puzzle caches. I hope that HQ will create a special list for updated coordinates too, that would make many dutch geocachers happy. Creating special lists connected to pocketqueries is a very good idea too.
I found the item about the puzzle hunt very inspirational. Nice.
The interview is interesting too. I’m looking forward to all improvements in the communication centre and the day that HQ will use the communication centre themselves instead of e-mail. In my country the local reviewers demand that cachers ignore the message centre in communicating. I would like to have a mobile friendly of the website so I can reply with my smartphone in the field.
Too bad Sean is missing Del Taco.
Anyway, thank you for the show.
Thanks for all the great feedback. Sean is happy to have Del Taco back safe and sound!
Thanks for the shout-out about Geodyssey!
